Jüdischer Krieg
Der große Jüdische Krieg gegen die Römer begann im Jahr 66 n. Chr. in Judäa, ausgelöst durch staatliche und religiöse Unterdrückung, und wurde im Jahr 70 mit der Eroberung Jerusalems und der Zerstörung des Jerusalemer Tempels entschieden. Endgültig konnte der Krieg erst im Jahr 73/74 mit dem Fall von Masada beendet werden. Es war der erste der drei großen jüdischen Aufstände gegen die Römer im 1. und 2. Jahrhundert. 元日战争是元朝皇帝（兼蒙古大汗）忽必烈与属国高丽在1274年和1281年两次派军侵略日本而引发的战争；这两次侵略在日本被称为“元寇”或“蒙古袭来”，或依当时的日本年号称抵御元军第一次进攻的战事为“文永之役”，第二次为“弘安之役”。镰仓、室町时代呼称（蒙古袭来、异贼袭来、蒙古合战、异国合战），亦有用凶徒称呼之，江户时代《大日本史》则称为元寇。这两次入侵也以北九州为主要战场。如果有关历史信源记录的船舰数目可信度高，蒙古的第二次入侵就是当时世界历史上最大规模的海战舰队，而仅次于1944年诺曼底登陆时的海事规模。
