Der Yangtze-Fluss ist mit einer Gesamtlänge von 6300 km der längste Fluss Asiens und der drittgrößte Fluss der Welt. Er entspringt an der Südwestseite des Schneeberges Geladangdong, dem Hauptgipfel des Tanggula Gebirges und mündet dann ins Ost-Chinesische Meer nahe Shanghai. Andere Schreibweisen für Yangtze sind Yangtse, Jangtse, Yangkze und Yankzi.

Die Drei Yangtze-Schluchten: Die ca. 70 km lange und einst wegen ihrer gefährlichen Untiefen gefürchtete Xiling-Schlucht, die ca. 40 km lange Wu-Schlucht, und die ca. 8 km lange Qutang-Schlucht befinden sich zwischen Chongqing und Wuhan. Sie sind eine der wenigen Schluchten der Welt, die während der Yangtze-Reisen auf dem Passagierschiff bewundert werden können. Nach der begonnenen Stauung des Yangtze-Flusses hat sich die Landschaft entlang des Flusses nicht im wesentlichen verändert, da die Berge entlang des schönsten Teilstücks zwischen 1000 und 1500 Meter hoch sind. Hier ist nach wie vor ein atemberaubendes Landschaftsbild zu bewundern.

瑶族，中国最古老的民族之一，民族语言分属汉藏语系苗瑶语族瑶语支、汉藏语系苗瑶语族苗语支、汉藏语系壮侗语族侗水语支。 瑶族是古代东方“九黎”中的一支，是中国华南地区分布最广的少数民族，是中国最长寿的民族之一，传说瑶族为盘瓠和帝喾之女三公主的后裔 。中国瑶族分布在中国南方广西、湖南、广东、云南、贵州和江西六省（区）的130多个县里，其中以广西为最多。

彝族（彝语北部方言：ꆈꌠ），主要居住于中国西南地区，少数分布在越南、老挝等东南亚地区，总人口约900多万人（2010年）。中国大陆现有彝族9830327人（2020年），为中国第七大少数民族。中国彝族聚居区和人口主要分布于云南、四川和贵州三省，其余各省市区也均有散居分布。在越南的彝族支系被称为“倮倮族”（越南语：Người Lô Lô），人口3307人（1999年），为官方承认的54个民族之一，分布在靠近中越边境的河江、高平和老街。缅甸、老挝、泰国等地亦有少量彝族人，部分居住地还留存有少许指路经和古彝文。 彝族内部有“尼苏（崇尚黑色）”、“纳苏”（凉山彝族，纳苏颇）、“罗武”、“米撒泼”、“撒尼”、“阿西”、“倮倮”等多种称谓，部分不同称谓代表不同支系，各个支系族群之间主要以方言和服饰区别。彝族语言属缅彝语群彝语支，有六种方言。越南的倮倮族大多数属于说彝语南部方言的尼苏人。彝语原有一种表意文字，史称爨文，也有人认为它是音节文字，其中比较通用的有一千多个。1975年的四川《彝文规范试行方案》确定了819个规范彝字，该方案1980年被中华人民共和国国务院批准，在四川凉山彝族自治州推行。

宜宾市（四川话拼音：ȵi2bin1；国际音标：[ȵi21pin55]），古称义宾、戎州、叙州，是中华人民共和国四川省下辖的地级市，位于四川省中南部。市境东界泸州市，北临自贡市，西接乐山市、凉山州，南邻云南省昭通市。地处四川盆地南缘，东南为云贵高原大娄山区，西部为大凉山区，东北部为川东岭谷区，地势西南高，东北低。金沙江自西向东横贯市境，于宜宾城区与岷江汇合，长江至此始称“长江”，故宜宾有“万里长江第一城”之称，长江由宜宾至宜昌一段亦称川江。宜宾酿酒业发达，以五粮液为名酒代表，被誉为“酒都”，亦是国家历史文化名城。宜宾市下辖3个市辖区、7个县。 市辖区：翠屏区、南溪区、叙州区 县：江安县、长宁县、高县、珙县、筠连县、兴文县、屏山县 宜宾临港经济技术开发区是宜宾市设立的国家级经济技术开发区。

越王樓 越王楼
越王楼坐落于四川省绵阳市龟山上，是中国四大名楼之一。由唐太宗第八个儿子越王李贞任绵州刺史时所建。其时高百尺（30米），是四大名楼中最高楼。越王楼曾多次被毁和重建。现时的越王楼重建于2010年。人称“唐家帝子楼”、“天下诗文第一楼”。
