Dongguan liegt in der chinesischen Provinz Guangdong und ist eine bezirksfreie Stadt. Die nächst gelegene Stadt ist Huizhou, die Nähe des Perlflusses an dessen Mündung in das Chinesische Meer bringt starke Wasserschwankungen mit sich. Zum Ausglich baute man parallel dazu einen Kanal, der die Stadt mit dem Meer verbindet. In der Geschichte des ersten Opiumkrieges spielte Dongguan eine unfreiwillig prominente Rolle. Das Stadtbild wird durch zahlreiche Fabriken dominiert. Dongguan galt lange als eine der produktivsten Städte in China! Allein 2000 Schuhfabriken beschäftigten mehr als 160000 Arbeiter. Dank großzügiger Investoren aus Hongkong konnte man auch ein Standbein in der boomenden Computerindustrie etablieren. Allerdings musste man 2008 aufgrund der sich anbahnenden Wirtschaftskrise massive Einbrüche im industriellen Sektor hinnehmen. Umso wichtiger könnte jetzt der Tourismus werden!

Sehenswertes beim Urlaub in Dongguan

Es gibt genug, was Dongguan interessant macht! Der Ke-Park zählt zu den Schönsten der Provinz und kann mit seinen Pavillons und Räumen aus hellblauem Ziegel beeindrucken. Daneben warten aber noch zahlreiche andere wunderschöne Parks auf Entdeckung! Zum Opiumkrieg findet sich ein Museum und man kann auch in der Umgebung der Stadt Sehenswertes finden. Alte Forts und wunderschöne Gartenanlagen, zauberhafte Häuser wie die Tiger Sping Mountain Villa, der JinAozhou Tower oder der Goddess of Mercy Mountain Forest Park können besucht werden.(Quelle: http://www.urlaub-infoportal.de/china/dongguan-_6202/)

端砚

端砚是中国四大名砚之一。产自广东肇庆市。肇庆古称端州，所产的砚台因此叫“端砚”，最早产于唐代武德年间（618年-626年），至今已有一千三百多年历史。端砚以石色青紫带圆形青绿色石眼的为最上。肇庆七星岩出产纯白色的白砚，滑如玉，磨墨无声，也是上品。上好的端砚不但美观，而且能“发墨”，墨色光亮如漆，能在相对较长的时间内不干。宋代皇帝多次颁布不准广东官员擅自带端砚进京的诏谕，可见其老坑名品珍贵为世罕有。

凤凰单丛茶，广东省潮州市潮安区特产，中国国家地理标志产品。凤凰单丛茶出产于凤凰镇，因凤凰山而得名。为提高茶叶品质，人们通过观察鉴定，实行单株采摘、单株制茶、单株销售方法，将优异单株分离培植，并冠以树名。当时有一万多株优异古茶树均行单株采制法，故称凤凰单丛茶。凤凰单丛茶的采摘初制工艺，是手工或手工与机械生产相结合。制作过程是晒青、晾青、做青、杀青、揉捻、烘焙6道工序。按照制作工艺，可将其划分为肉桂香、黄枝香、蜜兰香等十大型号80多个品系。

Foshan, selten auf kantonesisch Fatshan (chinesisch 佛山市, Pinyin Fóshān shì, Jyutping Fat6saan1 Si5 ‚Buddhaberg‘) ist eine bezirksfreie Stadt in der südchinesischen Provinz Guangdong. Sie liegt im Delta des Perlflusses, nur etwa 20 km von Guangdongs Metropole Guangzhou entfernt.

佛山祖廟 佛山祖庙

佛山祖庙，又名“北帝庙”“灵应祠”，位于广东省佛山市禅城区祖庙路21号。供奉道教真武玄天上帝 ，始建于北宋元丰年间（1078~1085年），是中原人南迁到岭南时所带来的北帝崇拜的产物；明洪武五年（1372年），重修；至清代初年逐渐成为一座体系完整、结构严谨、具有浓厚地方特色的庙宇建筑。佛山祖庙建筑群占地3500平方米，由排列在南北中轴线上的万福台、灵应牌坊、锦香池、钟鼓楼、三门、前殿、正殿、庆真楼等建筑物组成。祖庙整座建筑多用木石材料，斗拱梁架全用坚实的木料接榫构成，殿堂屋脊以石湾陶塑（瓦脊公仔）装饰，四周墙壁镶有大量砖雕、灰雕，殿内摆设有木雕、石雕、铁铸、铜铸、锡铸艺术品，堪称一座艺术殿堂。

Die Hongkong Zhuhai Macao Brücke ist ein chinesisches Infrastrukturprojekt, welches eine direkte Straßenverbindung zwischen den größten Städten am Perlflussdelta schaffen soll.
Im Dezember 2009 wurde der Grundstein für das Projekt gelegt, dessen Eröffnung für 2015 vorgesehen ist. Die Kosten werden auf 73 Milliarden Renminbi (rund 10,7 Milliarden US-Dollar) geschätzt.
