中国抗日战争，或称日本侵华战争、第二次中日战争，又称八年抗战或十四年抗战，是指1930年代至1945年中华民国与大日本帝国之间发生的战争。战场主要位于中国境内，同时也包括缅甸北部等邻接地区。

《中国人民解放军军歌》，又名为《中国人民解放军进行曲》，是中国人民解放军现行军歌，公木作词，郑律成作曲。 1939年秋，创作于延安，原名为《八路军进行曲》，为《八路军大合唱》组歌之一；同年年尾，由郑律成亲自指挥，由鲁迅艺术学院合唱队与乐队在杨家岭中央大礼堂首次演出。第二次国共内战时，改名为《解放军进行曲》。1965年，改为《中国人民解放军进行曲》。
