安娜·阿玛丽亚公爵夫人图书馆(Herzogin Anna-Amalia-Bibliothek)在遭受火灾后不到两年，2005年2月，它就作为学术图书馆重新对外开放，同时，新的研究中心也在这里举 行了落成典礼。这座图书馆是“经典魏玛(Klassisches Weimar)”的文化标志之一。1998年，联合国教科文组织将其列入了世界遗产名录。

文学宝库
安 娜·阿玛丽亚公爵夫人图书馆的历史可以追溯到16世纪。1691年，萨克森-魏玛(Sachsen-Weimar)的公爵维尔海姆·恩斯特 (Wilhelm Ernst)在魏玛建造的这座图书馆，原本是用于王宫藏书。萨克森-魏玛-艾森纳赫(Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach)公爵夫人安娜·阿 玛丽亚(1739-1807年)将其发扬光大。为推动魏玛艺术的发展，她广邀诗人和思想家来到这里，而正是这些人使魏玛声名远播。真正使魏玛世界闻名的是 歌德(Goethe)，直到1832年他去世之前，歌德都在管理这座图书馆。新研究中心就落户在魏玛历史上有名的红黄色宫殿里。

Als ICE 3 werden verschiedene Baureihen von ICE-Hochgeschwindigkeitszügen bezeichnet. Mit einer zugelassenen Höchstgeschwindigkeit von 320 bis 330 km/h sind sie die schnellsten Reisezüge der Deutschen Bahn. Im regulären Betrieb erreichen sie in Deutschland planmäßig bis zu 300 km/h und in Frankreich bis zu 320 km/h. Eine wesentliche Besonderheit des ICE 3 liegt in dem über den ganzen Zug unterflur-verteilten Antrieb.
