Der U.S. Highway 20 (im angelsächsischen Sprachgebrauch auch U.S. Route 20, kurz US 20) ist eine west-ost-amerikanische Hauptverkehrsstraße. Die Null im Straßennamen gibt hierbei an, dass es sich um eine Straße handelt, die von Küste zu Küste führt. Mit über 5415 Kilometern ist sie die längste Straße der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika.

Im Westen beginnt er als US 101 in Astoria (Oregon) und endet im Osten als Interstate 95 in Atlantic City (New Jersey). Der U.S. Highway 61 (auch U.S. Route 61, kurz US 61) ist ein United States Highway, der mit einer Länge von 2553 Kilometern (1400 Meilen) von New Orleans in Louisiana bis Wyoming in Minnesota führt. Der Highway folgt im Wesentlichen dem Verlauf des Mississippi und bildet einen Großteil der Great River Road.
Seit 2004 mündet der Highway an seinem nördlichen Endpunkt in die Interstate 35 bei Wyoming im Bundesstaat Minnesota. In der Vergangenheit führte er weiter nach Norden durch die Stadt Duluth bis zur Grenze nach Kanada bei Grand Portage. Heute verläuft die Minnesota State Route 61 dort entlang.
Das südliche Ende bildet die Einmündung in den U.S. Highway 90 in der Mitte von New Orleans. Der Highway 61 wird oft als The Blues Highway bezeichnet, da er von Norden durch das Mississippi-Delta[Anm. 1] nach New Orleans führt, jene Regionen, in denen Blues und Jazz entstanden.
In der Zeit vor der Errichtung der Interstate Highways war der Highway 61 eine wichtige Nord-Süd-Verbindung. Viele Südstaatler zog es auf dieser Straße nach St. Louis in Missouri oder weiter nördlich in die Twin Cities in Minnesota.

Die U.S. Route 71 oder der U.S. Highway 71 (US 71) ist eine wichtige Nord-Süd-Autobahn der Vereinigten Staaten, die sich über 1500 Meilen (2500 km) im Zentrum der USA erstreckt. Diese ursprüngliche Route aus dem Jahr 1926 ist durch die Interstate Highways weitgehend unverändert geblieben. Derzeit endet der Highway im Norden in International Falls, Minnesota, an der Grenze zwischen Kanada und den USA, am südlichen Ende der Fort Frances-International Falls International Bridge nach Fort Frances, Ontario. Hier endet auch die U.S. Route 53. Auf der anderen Seite der Brücke verläuft der Trans-Canada Highway (Ontario Highway 11) in Ost-West-Richtung, während der Ontario Highway 71 eine Nord-Süd-Verbindung darstellt. Der südliche Endpunkt der US 71 befindet sich zwischen Port Barre und Krotz Springs, Louisiana, an einer Kreuzung mit der U.S. Route 190.[1] Südlich von Kansas City, Missouri, verläuft die US 71 parallel und gleichzeitig mit der bestehenden und zukünftigen Interstate 49. Nördlich von Kansas City verläuft die US 71 auf halbem Weg zwischen der Interstate 29 und der Interstate 35, die sich in der Stadt an einer Kreuzung mit der Interstate 70 teilen.
