Die "Agenda Cybersicherheitsforschung – Maßnahmen im Zuge der Zeitenwende" des BMBF ergänzt das im Jahr 2021 veröffentlichte Forschungsrahmenprogramm der Bundesregierung zur IT-Sicherheit "Digital. Sicher. Souverän.". In der "Agenda Cybersicherheitsforschung" fasst das BMBF eine Reihe von Maßnahmen zusammen, um den durch die Zeitenwende ausgelösten Herausforderungen noch zielgenauer zu begegnen. Wichtige Schwerpunkte der Agenda sind es etwa, mithilfe von Forschung digitale Infrastrukturen in Deutschland und Europa möglichst zuverlässig und krisensicher aufzustellen, die Zusammenarbeit mit Wertepartnern zu intensivieren sowie die Cyberresilienz und -kompetenz in der Gesellschaft zu steigern.
