虎眼石（Tiger's eye）又称虎睛石，是一种具有猫眼效果的宝石，多呈黄棕色，宝石内带有仿丝质的光纹。
虎眼石是石英的其中一个品种，这种宝石可以利用青石棉纤维硅制作进行假晶替代。硅化的未完成过程所产生的蓝色变异种，则称为“鹰眼石”。一般为黑黄相间的色调，像老虎的纹路，也有蓝黄黑相间的，称为蓝色猫眼石。秘键阵净化，猫眼石常被人们称为“高贵的宝石”。
它和变石一起属于世界五大珍贵高档宝石之一。猫眼石主要产于气成热液型矿床和伟晶岩岩脉中。虎眼石是木变石的变种。虎眼石的石英纤维较木变石短，而且方向不规整，像斑纹一样的任意方向排列。
世界上最大的虎眼石、木变石矿床位于南非德兰士瓦省。除此之外，还有巴西、中国河南等地出产。价格也视成色而定 ，一般表面无瑕疵，眼线清晰且位于正中的是上品。
