绥化市，别称“北团林子”，黑龙江省辖地级市，位于黑龙江省中部，松嫩平原的呼兰河流域，海拔高度为135—247米；东接林都伊春，南临省会哈尔滨，西靠油城大庆，北依口岸黑河，西北连鹤城齐齐哈尔，总面积3.5万平方千米。绥化地域，清光绪十一年（1885年），设绥化理事通判厅，绥化，满语安顺吉祥之意，而得名。绥化是黑龙江省的重要交通枢纽，全省六大客货运中转中心之一，哈尔滨以北重要的区域性中心城市； 境内景区众多，如兰西黄崖子关东民俗旅游文化村景区等。 绥化市现辖1个市辖区、6个县，代管3个县级市。 市辖区：北林区 县级市：安达市、肇东市、海伦市 县：望奎县、兰西县、青冈县、庆安县、明水县、绥棱县

乌苏里江（满语：ᡠᠰᡠᡵᡳ ᡠᠯᠠ，穆麟德：usuri ula）是中华人民共和国与俄罗斯的界河。满语“乌苏里江”意为“水里的江”、“东方日出之江”，乌苏里江发源在中国吉林东海滨、现在属于俄罗斯的锡霍特山脉（内兴安岭）主峰北坡的石人沟地方，西北流向，与三道沟汇流后，改为东北流向，曲曲弯弯穿过山和草原，至抚远三角洲下端与黑龙江汇流，全长905公里，流域面积共有187,000余平方公里。主要支流有两个，一是西边的穆棱河，二是东边的松阿察河，流向都是自南向北。松阿察河上游有著名的兴凯湖。乌苏里江在黑龙江省抚远县附近俄罗斯哈巴罗夫斯克（伯力）与黑龙江汇合。

乌苏里江鱼产丰富，而且因江面宽阔，水流平稳，便于航运，是中国仅有的几条未被污染的江河之一，也是消夏避暑、江畔垂钓、旅游观光的胜地。
