公元初年建于一座大教堂的原址上。在古罗马人时期开始修建，但是最后在哥特人时期建成，因此哥特式风格也是这座大教堂的主要风格

外观朴素，只用垂直扶墙装饰。圣伊沃门（Puerta de San Ivo）是加泰罗尼亚地区哥特式风格的典范。教堂里的殿堂几乎是同一个高度，这就使人感觉处于单一空间。侧面的祭坛上面都有一扇玻璃窗，给祭坛整体增加光 亮和宽敞的感觉。教堂圆顶被一层木镶嵌天花板包在里面。主外墙是相对较新的建筑（完成于19世纪末，20世纪初），尽管这是出自1408年的设计。  (Quelle:http://www.spain.info)

西班牙巴塞罗那凯旋门（Arc de Triomf）作为1888年世界博览会的主要入口而兴建，用红砖砌筑，属于摩尔复兴风格。前面的门楣上雕刻有 "Barcelona rep les nacions"（“巴塞罗那欢迎各国”），背面的门楣石雕名为 "Recompense"。

Der Arc de Triomf (katalanisch für Triumphbogen) war das Haupteingangstor für die Weltausstellung von 1888 in Barcelona. Architekt war Josep Vilaseca i Casanovas.

西班牙巴塞罗那凯旋门（Arc de Triomf）作为1888年世界博览会的主要入口而兴建，用红砖砌筑，属于摩尔复兴风格。前面的门楣上雕刻有 "Barcelona rep les nacions"（“巴塞罗那欢迎各国”），背面的门楣石雕名为 "Recompense"。相反的带状装饰包含一个名为“报应”。凯旋门的顶端装饰着西班牙其他49个省的省徽。
