Badminton
  Badminton wird entweder im Einzel oder im Doppel gespielt. Um zu spielen benötigt man folgendes Zubehör:
  • Spielfeld
  • Netz
  • Badminton-Schläger
  • Federbälle

Spielfeld:
Die Größe des Spielfeldes unterscheidet sich, je nachdem ob man Einzel oder Doppel spielt. Beim Einzel ist das Feld in der Breite etwas kleiner (siehe Grafik), beim Doppel gelten die Außenlinien als Begrenzung.

Netz:
Das Netz gilt als Abgrenzung der zwei Spielhälften. Man hängt es in ca. 1,55 Meter Höhe auf. Gespielt wird über das Netz.

Badminton-Schläger:
Zum Badminton spielen muss kein gesonderter Schläger zugelegt werden, man kann natürlich auch  einen ganz normalen Federball-Schläger benutzen. Zu empfehlen ist es jedoch, da Badminton-Schläger wesentlich weniger Gewicht hat. Badminton ist ein schneller Sport, der sehr schnelle Reflexe und gleichzeitige Treffsicherheit erfordert. Bei einem schweren Schläger bekommt man da leicht einen langen Arm und kann die Bälle nicht mehr so kontrolliert schlagen. Badminton-Schläger sind in der Anschaffung nicht sehr teuer, man bekommt sehr Gute schon für 70€.

Federbälle:
  Das Wichtigste bei diesem Sport ist der Ball. Man muss immer darauf achten, dass der Federball keinen Riss hat oder sonst wie kaputt ist. Denn ein kaputter Federball ist kaum zu kontrollieren und fliegt in den abwegigsten Bahnen. Nur ein heiler Federball fliegt optimal. Es ist immer gut eine volle Packung (ca. 5 Stück) griffbereit zu haben, denn die Bälle haben einen sehr hohen Verschleiss.

Wenn wir die Utensilien bereit haben, können wir uns ja mit den Regeln vertraut machen.
