Die MQ-9 Reaper (dt. „Schnitter“, „Mäher“, „Mähmaschine“, „Sensenmann“) ist eine Drohne des US-amerikanischen Herstellers General Atomics. Sie basiert auf der MQ-1 Predator, weshalb sie anfangs auch Predator B genannt wurde. Die MQ-9 ist aber wesentlich größer und dient in erster Linie der Luftnahunterstützung. Sie wurde unter anderem von den Streitkräften der Vereinigten Staaten und der Royal Air Force in Afghanistan eingesetzt.

Das North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD; deutsch Nordamerikanisches Luftverteidigungskommando) ist eine gemeinsame Einrichtung der Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika und Kanadas zur Luftraumüberwachung, -kontrolle und Luftverteidigung des gemeinsamen Anteils am nordamerikanischen Kontinent sowie einiger Inseln, nicht aber Hawaiis. Als bilaterale Institution zweier Staaten, die eine gegenseitige Übertragung und kollektive Durchführung hoheitlich-territorialer Aufgaben vorsieht, ist das NORAD weltweit einmalig.

北美空天防御司令部（英语：North American Aerospace Defense Command，简称北美空防司令部（NORAD），原称北美防空司令部）是一个由美国和加拿大共同组成的军事机构，首脑为美国总统和加拿大总理。该机构成立于1958年5月12日，作用是由美加两国作北美地区空中的联合防卫。总部位于美国科罗拉多州第二大城科罗拉多泉的彼得森太空军基地，主要设施则自1963年起设在科罗拉多泉近郊的夏延山核战碉堡。

Die Boeing C-17 Globemaster III ist ein multifunktionales vierstrahliges Militärtransportflugzeug für große Lasten oder Truppen aus US-amerikanischer Produktion. Entwickelt wurde sie von McDonnell Douglas und seit dessen Übernahme wird sie von Boeing produziert und vertrieben. Die C-17 wird seit 1993 von der United States Air Force, seit 2001 von der Royal Air Force Großbritanniens, seit 2006 von der Royal Australian Air Force sowie seit 2007 vom Air Command der kanadischen Streitkräfte eingesetzt. Die C-17 ist nach der Douglas C-74 und der Douglas C-124 der dritte Typ mit Beinamen Globemaster in der USAF.

 英 国“海鹞”多用途喷气式垂直－短距起落战斗、侦察和攻击机是从“鹞” gr.mk3 改型而来，专供海军舰载使用。 70 年代初开始研制 ,1978 年 8 月首飞 ,1979 年 6 月开始装备英国海军。英国海军共装备 67 架。1983年，印度购买了英国的“赫姆斯”号航空母舰，为了满足航空母舰的需要，先后订购了 23 架单座型 frs.mk1 和 4 架双座型 t.mk51 。(Quelle:http://www.chinabaike.com/)

 
Der Harrier ist das erste Flugzeug der Welt was in der Lage ist senkrecht zu starten und auch wieder zu landen, auch ein Senkrechtstarter genannt. 1960 stand der erste Prototyp bereit aus dem dann letztendlich der Harrier geworden ist. Die Indienststellung des Harriers war 1969. Anfangs wurde der Harrier von der Firma Hawker Siddeley produziert. Aus dem Harrier ging 1975 der Sea Harrier hervor, der nun von der Firma British Aerospace produziert wurde. Dieser war nun darauf ausgerichtet von Flugzeugträgern starten und auch wieder auf ihnen landen zu können. Im Vergleich zum Harrier fällt sofort auf, dass der Vorderrumpf des Sea Harriers nicht länglich ist wie der des Harriers, sondern eher spitz. Der Harrier, der Sea Harrier und auch der britisch-amerikanische Harrier II sind keine Unterschallflugzeuge. Das Projekt aus dem Harrier ein Überschallflugzeug zu machen wurde später zurückgezogen. Der Sea Harrier hat auch 1982 im Falklandkrieg teilgenommen und war den argentinischen Jägern weit überlegen.
