位于曲阜城东北里许处的周公庙，全称文宪王庙，亦称元圣庙，是祭祀周公的庙宇。因封建帝王曾封周公为"元圣"，故又得名为元圣庙。周公，姓姬名旦，亦称叔旦，周文王姬昌的第四子，武王之弟。辅佐武王伐纣，建立周朝，并制定了典章制度。按周朝宗法制度，周公被分封于鲁。因公留佐成王，故长子伯禽就封，建鲁国。
