汝河，俗称南汝河，淮河支流洪河的重要支流，发源于河南省泌阳县五峰山，流经遂平县、汝南县、平舆县、正阳县、新蔡县班台与小洪河汇流入大洪河。与洪河相汇前河长222.5公里，流域面积7376平方公里，除西部为山区外，其他均为平原。在汝南县沙口以上河长146公里，河床比降1/4720；沙口至班台河长76.5公里，河床比降为1/6500。
