Carl Otto Ehrenfried Nicolai (* 9. Juni 1810 in Königsberg i. Pr.; † 11. Mai 1849 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Komponist und Dirigent. Während seines Engagements in Wien rief er die „philharmonischen Konzerte“ ins Leben und gründete auf diese Weise die Wiener Philharmoniker.
