秦基伟（1914.11.16—1997.2.2），湖北省红安县人。中国共产党党员。中国人民解放军高级将领。

历经土地革命战争、抗日战争、解放战争、抗美援朝战争结束后，历任云南军区副司令员，昆明军区副司令员，成都军区司令员，北京军区司令员，国务委员兼国防部长等职，全国人民代表大会常委会副委员长。为中国共产党第十一至十三届中央委员，第十二届中央政治局候补委员，第十三届中央政治局委员，中央军委委员、常委。

1955年被授予中将军衔，荣获二级八一勋章、一级独立自由勋章、一级解放勋章。

1988年被授予上将军衔。
