纳赛尔被认为是歷史上最重要的阿拉伯领导人之一。他執政期間，曾是阿拉伯民族主义的倡导者。

Gamal Abdel Nasser (arabisch جمال عبد الناصر, DMG Ǧamāl ʿAbd an-Nāṣir; * 15. Januar 1918 in Alexandria; † 28. September 1970 in Kairo) war ein ägyptischer Offizier und Staatsmann. Von 1952 bis 1954 war er Ministerpräsident von Ägypten, von 1954 bis 1970 dann Staatspräsident sowie in der Periode der Vereinigung Ägyptens mit Syrien Präsident der Vereinigten Arabischen Republik.
