西昌航天發射中心 西昌航天发射中心
西昌卫星发射中心（英文：Xichang Satellite Launch Center，简称：XSLC，又称“西昌卫星城”），是中国卫星发射基地之一。组建于1970年，是中国三大航天发射中心之一，管理使用西昌、文昌两个航天发射场。西昌发射场1982年交付使用，位于四川省凉山彝族自治州冕宁县。 西昌发射场地处山区，是全球十大发射场中气候条件最为复杂的发射场之一。 西昌发射中心每年10月至次年5月是最佳发射季节。发射中心于1983年建成，1984年以来发射过中国第一颗试验通信卫星、实用通信广播卫星及实用通信卫星，1990年又将美国制造的“亚洲一号”通信卫星送入地球同步转移轨道。该中心是中国首个完成200次发射的航天发射中心，创造了中国航天史上新的纪录。从“1”到“100”，西昌卫星发射中心用时32年，而从“100”到“200”仅用6年时间 。 西昌卫星发射中心主要用于广播、通信和气象卫星进入地球同步轨道的发射任务。西昌卫星发射中心位于中国西南部四川省的西昌地区，其总部位于距发射场65千米处的西昌市内。西昌地区属亚热带气候，全年平均气温为摄氏16度，该地区全年地面风力柔和适度。
