人间喜剧/La Comédie humaine

1841年，巴尔扎克制定了一个宏伟的创作计划，决定写137部小说，分风俗研究、哲理研究、分析研究三大部分，总名字叫《人间喜剧》，全面反映19世纪法国的社会生活，写出一部法国的社会风俗史。到巴尔扎克逝世时，《人间喜剧》已完成了91部小说。这些小说中最有名的就是《欧也妮·葛朗台》(Eugénie Grandet，1833) 和《高老头》(Le Père Goriot，1835)。
